Mission Statement
OUR VISION
Our vision is the establishment of a worldwide ministerial network of ministers and ministries that will give hope to the world. This vision is an extension of what Christ started when He came to the world, because the name World Hope Ministries is rooted in the central message of the New Testament:
Because the World matters to God, therefore the World matters to us – John 3:16
"World" firstly refers to the geographical context from local community to global and international community, and this includes the figurative world of believers everyday lives, i.e. finances, work, family, community, social and political context.
Christ is the Hope of Glory and it is Biblical to take Hope to the World – Colossians 1:27-29
"Hope" refers to the biblical meaning of unfailing hope in the resurrected Christ, the only true and living hope in a hopeless world. This hope inspires believers to have an assured expectation of good in every area of their lives (e.g. personal, relational, spiritual, social, economic, and political, etc).
We regard Ourselves as Ministers with a Ministry of Hope when we serve in the Body of Christ and Minister in the World with our various Gifts – 1 Corinthians 12:5-6
“Ministries” include both the believer as a developing minister, and the development of various ministries, with the main emphasis on us being servants and helpers in the kingdom of God.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission - "Transforming the Lives of Real People"
Our mission involves the transformation of people to pursue kingdom living and becoming excellent ministers through consistent, applicable, contextually relevant bible teaching and leadership training. This allows us to render excellent ministry services to our members, partners as well as the broader faith communities in the greater Cape Town area. We want to reach beyond the borders of our country to impact the international community. This mission is accomplished through a twofold strategy:
Strategy 1
Our strategy for the local church is to win the lost, identify them as potential ministers, and develop, establish, and send them into the world with the message of biblical hope.
Strategy 2
Our second strategy is to take biblical hope to churches in the body of Christ through Raymond Le Fleur Ministries (RLM), World Hope International Ministerial Alliance (WHIMA), our annual Leadership Conference, other events and our extensive media ministry.
